Hyphen listed in AJ100 top architectural practices

For the first time, Hyphen has been included in the prestigious AJ100 ranking. Compiled by the Architects’ Journal, it is a ranking of the largest architectural practices in the UK, measured by the number of qualified architects employed.

Speaking about this achievement, CEO at Hyphen, Eddie Miles said:

I am delighted that Hyphen has been ranked in the AJ100 for 2020. This achievement reflects the success and growth of our UK offices, which the Architects’ Journal review to make their assessment. This year we have achieved joint 97th place in the UK and this is based on the number of UK architects employed. On the basis of group fee turnover however, our position rises to 40th which reflects the strength of the Hyphen group as a whole, particularly business generated in Europe.

This is an achievement in which we should all take pride, particularly as unlike many of our peers, our work is almost entirely in commercial sectors and often comprising many smaller projects. This repeat business is the best indicator of our continuing commitment to delivering quality work and a measure of our expertise across many countries. At a time when we are still adjusting to the effects of Covid-19, it is pleasing that everyone’s hard work over the course of the last year has been recognised.”
