Luxury is an industry that has experienced several changes in the last few years as brands adapt to a new generation of customers, so it has been really interesting to learn more about how that is impacting not only design, but also other areas of business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:25%\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:50%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-vimeo wp-block-embed-vimeo wp-embed-aspect-9-16 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"The latest developments in luxury\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/1022966021?dnt=1&amp;app_id=122963\" width=\"422\" height=\"750\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:25%\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Talking points<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The dominant themes related to the new luxury customers \u2013 generation z and generation alpha \u2013and how they are pushing the industry out of their traditional boundaries, towards digital transformation, enhanced customer experience, and sustainability. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>GenZ and GenAlpha don&#8217;t necessarily recognize a difference between the physical and digital. They don&#8217;t shift from one to other, both are a big part of their daily lives. This is a new way of communication between luxury brands and their clients, which is driving digital innovation and brand strategy. The event had a strong discussion line around digital transformation in the industry and how new technology implementation, such as the use NFTs, gaming, generative AI, blockchain, metaverse and Web3, can enhance the customer journey and brand experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Discussions on sustainability included how luxury clients can protect the legacy of their brands and offer extra value to the community and environment.
