{"id":8415,"date":"2024-01-10T12:53:40","date_gmt":"2024-01-10T12:53:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hyphen.archi\/declaracion-net-zero\/"},"modified":"2024-08-01T14:14:13","modified_gmt":"2024-08-01T14:14:13","slug":"net-zero-statement","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/hyphen.archi\/es\/politicas\/net-zero-statement\/","title":{"rendered":"Net Zero Statement"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"248\" src=\"http:\/\/hyphen.archi\/app\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Net_zero_121223-1024x248.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12460\" srcset=\"https:\/\/hyphen.archi\/app\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Net_zero_121223-1024x248.png 1024w, https:\/\/hyphen.archi\/app\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Net_zero_121223-300x73.png 300w, https:\/\/hyphen.archi\/app\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Net_zero_121223-768x186.png 768w, https:\/\/hyphen.archi\/app\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Net_zero_121223-1536x372.png 1536w, https:\/\/hyphen.archi\/app\/uploads\/2024\/07\/Net_zero_121223-2048x496.png 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In our&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/hyphen.archi\/app\/uploads\/2024\/07\/HYP_GOV_STA_GLOBAL_Net-Zero_REVA_DEC-22.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Net Zero Statement<\/a>, we are committing to&nbsp;halve our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030&nbsp;and&nbsp;achieve net zero before 2050.&nbsp;Although 2050 seems a long way off, this commitment is based on the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/businessclimatehub.org\/\">SME Climate Hub<\/a>&nbsp;framework which supports small and medium sized enterprises, such as Hyphen, to commit to net zero targets and is recognised by the United Nations&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/climatechampions.unfccc.int\/system\/race-to-zero\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Race to Zero campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-\u2018one-hyphen\u2019-approach,-delivered-through-local-offices\"><strong>A \u2018One Hyphen\u2019 approach, delivered through local offices<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>All present and future Hyphen offices will be involved in this strategy and share a common framework which includes a commitment to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quantify our operational greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on a yearly basis, using&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/normative.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Normative<\/a>, a carbon accounting engine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce absolute scope 1**&nbsp;and 2&nbsp;GHG emissions 50% by 2030 from 2021 as a base year, and to be Net Zero by 2050.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set an action plan to reduce scope 3 business travel emissions gradually from the base year (2021) and to complete this reduction with high-quality certified GHG&nbsp;removal initiatives. This will help achieve a global reduction of 50% by 2030 and Net Zero by 2050.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement plans of reducing supply chain scope 3 emissions.
