{"id":7713,"date":"2022-12-19T12:11:00","date_gmt":"2022-12-19T12:11:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/hyphen.archi\/nos-enorgullece-unirnos-a-la-campana-de-la-onu-carrera-hacia-cero\/"},"modified":"2024-07-03T16:14:59","modified_gmt":"2024-07-03T16:14:59","slug":"were-proud-to-join-the-uns-race-to-zero-campaign","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hyphen.archi\/es\/were-proud-to-join-the-uns-race-to-zero-campaign\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re proud to join the UN\u2019s Race to Zero campaign"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-large-font-size\">In our\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/hyphen.archi\/app\/uploads\/2022\/12\/Net-Zero-Statement-FV.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Net Zero Statement<\/a>, we are committing to\u00a0halve our greenhouse gas emissions by 2030\u00a0and\u00a0achieve net zero before 2050.\u00a0Although 2050 seems a long way off, this commitment is based on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/businessclimatehub.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SME Climate Hub<\/a>\u00a0framework which supports small and medium sized enterprises, such as Hyphen, to commit to net zero targets and is recognised by the United Nations\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/unfccc.int\/climate-action\/race-to-zero-campaign\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Race to Zero campaign<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-large-font-size\" id=\"a-\u2018one-hyphen\u2019-approach,-delivered-through-local-offices\"><strong>A \u2018One Hyphen\u2019 approach, delivered through local offices<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">All present and future Hyphen offices will be involved in this strategy and share a common framework which includes a commitment to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quantify our operational greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions on a yearly basis, using&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/normative.io\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Normative<\/a>, a carbon accounting engine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reduce absolute scope 1**&nbsp;and 2&nbsp;GHG emissions 50% by 2030 from 2021 as a base year, and to be Net Zero by 2050.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Set an action plan to reduce scope 3 business travel emissions gradually from the base year (2021) and to complete this reduction with high-quality certified GHG&nbsp;removal initiatives. This will help achieve a global reduction of 50% by 2030 and Net Zero by 2050.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Implement plans of reducing supply chain scope 3 emissions.
