TIPS
- Any historic location in a city centre will add extra cost in terms of logistics. It is expensive to pay for occupying the public space, and advertising is also taxed.
DID YOU KNOW?
- Due to recent earthquakes, the Seismic Safety Act has been updated meaning that seismic calculations may be required for structural alterations.
- Noise emission calculations may be required.
- The application period for listed buildings is approx. 90 days.
- In the city of Rome, an additional permit to the Local Historical Heritage authority (Sovrintendenza Capitolina) must be obtained. The application period is 60 days
- Standard external signages permits take 30 days, 90 days in the case of listed building or in a listed area.
