Group BIM/REVIT Standards Coordinator

Hyphen is an multi-national architectural practice with an interdisciplinary team of more than 200 professionals, including architects, interior designers and designers from different generations and cultures. We work primarily as designers and project managers for clients in the commercial, industrial and hospitality sectors.

The role

  • As Group BIM/REVIT Standards Coordinator, you will work with the Global Revit/BIM team to define global BIM/Revit standards aligned with the organisation’s goals.
  • Ensure the standards align with any current standards or procedures that exist within Hyphen – such as Technical or Quality standards etc.
  • If diversions from the above need to be made, work with the appropriate team meeting to ensure alignment.
  • Write up and implement group BIM workflows, tools, and standards.
  • Enhance existing Revit training manual to be comprehensive and implement training in all offices as required.
  • Lead the implementation of ISO19650 workflows and certification.
  • Maintain the BIM/Revit internal platform pages to ensure all information provided to employees is correct and up to date.
  • Manage the communication of any standards changes to ensure all employees are aware.
  • Coordinate with the local BIM Managers/Coordinators to ensure they understand all standards maintain consistency.
  • You will be responsible for establishing consistency across projects and offices.
  • Improve staff inductions and training.
  • Improve project coordination, reducing errors and delays.
  • Enhance staff efficiency and satisfaction through clear workflows and reduced stress.
  • Strengthen Hyphen’s reputation and competitiveness in the market.
  • Position the organisation for sustained growth with scalable, standardised processes.
  • Have capacity to introduce BIM as a third-party service, extending our service offering to our existing and future clients.
  • Coordinate with the Global Revit/BIM team and local BIM Managers to ensure training is devised and implemented in a planned manner.
  • Set targets for continuous improvement within offices for the BIM managers to meet.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for resolving complex BIM-related issues in the group – with the support of the Global Revit/BIM team and BIM Managers.
  • Oversee the work of the Group BIM Auditor.
  • Maintain the ISO19650 certification once received.
  • Report activities and progress to the Global Revit/BIM team and Head of Technical Standards.
  • Act as the public face for BIM/Revit excellence within Hyphen.

Your skills and experience

  • Excellent practical knowledge and experience of BIM and Revit – preferably practical experience within an architectural, engineering or construction company.
  • Confidence in leadership and the ability to align the direction of a diverse international team.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Experience in ISO19650 implementation.
