A leadership transition shaped by continuity, experience and long-term thinking.
Eva Diego has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of Hyphen, following a planned leadership transition. The appointment reflects both where the practice is today and how it is set up to operate in the years ahead.
Eva has been part of Hyphen’s leadership for many years and has played a central role in shaping the business as it has grown in scale, complexity and reach. Her appointment is not a change of direction, but a continuation of a long-term approach built around close client relationships, considered advice and delivery across multiple markets.
As a practice, we have matured into a multi-national organisation working with clients whose needs increasingly span locations, sectors and asset types. Eva’s role as CEO builds on that foundation, supporting a more integrated way of working across teams while staying true to how we operate day to day.
“I feel privileged to be taking Hyphen into its exciting next chapter. Global demand for critical digital infrastructure is reshaping the built environment, and we are well positioned to lead. We act as both expert delivery partners and trusted architectural advisors for our clients, helping them to navigate complex and technically demanding projects while ensuring commercial viability.”
Eva Diego, CEO, Hyphen
A leadership transition grounded in continuity
For our clients and partners, consistency matters. The teams they work with, the way decisions are made, and the advisory mindset that underpins our work all remain the same.
This transition has been planned carefully to ensure continuity across leadership, client relationships and project delivery. Eva has been closely involved in many of our most complex and long-standing client partnerships, and her appointment reflects that depth of experience and understanding of the business.
Our focus remains on supporting clients through complex decisions, balancing commercial, operational and long-term considerations, and helping projects succeed within their wider context.
What this enables
As CEO, Eva will continue to strengthen our advisory capability across markets, supporting clients whose portfolios and ambitions increasingly operate across borders.
This includes:
- Deepening long-term client relationships
- Strengthening collaboration across teams and locations
- Ensuring knowledge and experience are shared effectively across the practice
- Supporting clients navigating increasingly complex regulatory, operational and technical environments
Our aim is to remain a trusted partner to clients as their needs evolve, rather than simply responding to individual project briefs.
Ongoing leadership support
Eddie, who has been CEO of Hyphen for the last 10 years, moves into the role of Chair. He will continue to support Eva and the wider leadership team, providing strategic oversight and guidance while maintaining continuity at Board level.
“Eva’s appointment reaffirms Hyphen’s ambition to become a truly international practice. She has been central to the business’s growth over many years, and I have complete confidence in her leadership. My role now is to support Eva and the wider leadership team, ensuring continuity while the business continues to develop.”
