As Chief Operating Officer, Company Secretary and Director, Sarah plays a vital role in ensuring Hyphen’s corporate responsibility. She holds an MBA (Master of Business Administration) from the University of Southampton and has worked for the company for over 30 years. As well as her Board-level responsibilities, Sarah manages corporate governance.

Most interesting place
I love the town of Skagen, on the northern most point of Denmark, where the North Sea meets the Baltic Sea. Despite its environmental challenges, it feels like the people in the community work together to make it great place to live.
Favourite cheese
I love any cheese, but my favourite is Blacksticks Blue.
What do you like most about your job / working at Hyphen?
I’ve enjoyed seeing the company grow and develop from a small UK partnership to the international company that it is today. There have been many changes along the way, but the fundamental principles of integrity, trust and good principles from those leading the company have remained constant throughout.
Who or what was the most important influence in your early career?
Chris Henderson, our company’s founder. He was a great motivator and had respect for people. He empowered people to take responsibility for their work and their actions. My motivation to strive to achieve my best for Hyphen comes from the faith he had in me when he employed me over 30 years ago.
