Alan joined Hyphen in 2006, becoming director in 2016 and managing director for the UK and Ireland in 2023. Known for his imaginative and dynamic leadership style, he has led projects for some of the world’s best-recognised luxury retail brands, overseeing every aspect from concept to completion and ensuring exceptional results across the UK and Europe.

What do you like most about your job / working at Hyphen?
Not only is every day different but there is so much variety within each of those days.
Who or what was the most important influence in your early career?
Chris Henderson, the founder of Hyphen (then Househam Henderson), because, in all of the most challenging situations, he remained resolutely calm at all times which keeps a clear mind when you need it most.
