We are pleased to announce the appointment of Muhammad Khan, who has joined us as a director, as of 15 April 2024.

Muhammad will be primarily based in London, working closely with the local team and directors Alan Cheyne and Wayne Taylor.

A mission critical specialist, Muhammad has significant experience in the data centre sector, delivering projects worth up to £500 million across the UK and Europe. Added to this is more than 20 years of work as an architect, in business development and at board level.

Muhammad is also known for his commitment to mentoring and EDI. He is a well-known public speaker in the industry, including as a RIBA Future Leaders Student Mentor and moderator for the Architecture Race Forum.

Alan Cheyne, managing director of Hyphen in the UK and Ireland, says, “Muhammad will be a superb addition to our team in London. He has many good qualities that will help us move our business forward, both locally and as a group.

“He has a wealth of knowledge in critical infrastructure and that can only be beneficial to our team in London, especially with regards to our work in the data centre and logistics sectors, and with his background in mentoring.”

Eddie Miles, CEO at Hyphen says, “Data centres are a key sector for us and having someone of Muhammad’s calibre join our ranks can only strengthen our presence in the sector. We look forward to seeing how Muhammad can inspire our next generation of architects.

“We are also pleased that Muhammad already shares many of our core values, including commitment to excellence, diversity and inclusion, and collaborative working.

“I hope you will join me in giving Muhammad a very warm welcome to the team at Hyphen.”
