It’s safe to say that 2024 is a big year for Paris. More than 14,000 of the world’s best athletes will soon be in Paris for the Summer Olympics and Paralympics, in the ultimate display of sporting excellence.
Elite athletes strive to be the best at what they do and know what is possible when we are willing to challenge ourselves. While we can’t claim to produce world class athletes at Hyphen, we do share a commitment to constant improvement and achieving the highest standards possible in everything we do.
As I write this article, I am reminded of a quote written on one of our office walls – “We continually strive to do better and learn from our experiences.” This is one of the messages that underpins a core value of ours at Hyphen – “We stand for excellence”.
As part of our commitment to excellence, we have been improving our quality management systems across the group, with the aim to have all our offices accredited by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO).
We are pleased to say that our team in Paris are the latest to gain the quality management “gold medal” by achieving ISO 9001:2015 accreditation. Paris joins our teams in London, Winchester and Madrid, who have already achieved this significant milestone. However, this isn’t a one-off because excellence is only achieved with continued efforts and the ISO’s annual audit process gives us a framework for maintaining the Hyphen quality and identifying ways we can do things better.
Lucy Dewick-Tew, head of technical standards at Hyphen, says, “ISO 9001 accreditation is a big step forward for us. It is all about efficiency, and running our business as effectively as we can internally, so we can continue to deliver our best work for clients.
