Bhavna joined Hyphen in 2026 to establish our team in Mumbai, India. Born and raised in New Delhi, she is an architect by training with 17 years of experience across India, Malaysia, Canada, and the United States.
After studying architecture in Delhi and completing a Masters in Construction Management at Carnegie Mellon University, Bhavna spent most of her career at a major US-based construction firm where she led teams delivering projects across multiple sectors.
Bhavna has led complex work across residential, commercial, hospitality and healthcare projects, with particular strength in design management, BIM, code compliance, constructability, and value engineering.
She is a LEED Green Associate and serves as Regional Lead for Women in BIM India. Last year she received the Real Women Award and the NAREDCO MAHI ‘Empower Her Excellence Award’ for her contributions to the AEC industry, and to gender equity in the built environment.
