Senior associate
Franziska joined the company in 2004 and became a Senior Associate in 2020. She has played a key role in the growth and success of our Berlin office and has extensive experience in luxury retail – delivering projects for some of Hyphen’s most influential clients, in locations all around the world.
About Franziska
Most interesting place
La Tourette, as I love the combination of nature, architecture, escape and social interaction – accompanied by a glass of Beaujolais! The convent of Le Corbusier is a stark contract to my very lively hometown of Berlin.
Favourite cheese
A melted blend of Swiss Gruyère, Vacherin Fribourgeois and Chasselas (dipped with white bread).
What do you like most about your job / working at Hyphen?
As well as managing projects from start to finish, I also enjoy working with our international teams. Each project presents new challenges and an opportunity to meet people from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds.
Who or what was the most important influence in your early career?
Luigi Snozzi, for his approach to creating more inspirational and operational spaces. I attended a summer school in the village of Monte Carasso, Ticino, and this was an excellent example of ongoing agglomeration, urban planning and architecture that involves the people who are living there in the process (and has done for decades)!
