Georgina Mullen and Jimena Etchegaray step up as directors in Northern Ireland and Mexico, Darragh Beggan becomes a senior associate in Ireland, and Javier Moya Ortiz joins our leadership team as an associate in Chile.
Repurposing spaces in the UK & Ireland
Georgina Mullen’s promotion reflects her extensive experience and dedication to quality and strong client relationships. Since joining Hyphen as an associate in 2021, Georgina has led multidisciplinary teams on retail, hospitality, and mixed-use developments across the UK and Europe.
A trained Assigned Certifier in Ireland since 2014, she combines technical expertise with a passion for conservation, helping us deliver solutions to complex challenges for global clients like Marks & Spencer, Miele, and Chopstix.
Ensuring top standards across Latin America
Jimena Etchegaray joined Hyphen in 2023 to lead our Mexico team, working closely with Eva Diego and Matias Menichetti on our regional strategy. She has developed close partnerships with many luxury brands.
With deep expertise in sustainability and wellness, she also brings practical experience with certifications in LEED and WELL standards and a proven track record in delivering projects that meet clients’ environmental targets. Her leadership will be key as we continue to grow in Latin America and progress towards Net Zero.
Leading technical excellence in Ireland
Darragh Beggan joined Hyphen as a senior architectural technologist in 2021 and has progressed thanks to his commitment to growth and innovation. With over a decade of BIM and Revit experience, he has delivered complex data centre and first-of-its-kind energy centre projects across Europe and the Middle East.
Known for his technical precision and enthusiasm for adopting new systems, Darragh also champions mentoring and supports his team’s professional growth. His promotion reflects our commitment to nurturing talent and delivering creative solutions for our clients.
Designing the future of digital infrastructure
Javier Moya Ortiz holds a Master of Science in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University with over a decade of industry experience.
He began his Hyphen journey as a senior architect in 2022 and has since contributed to critical infrastructure and hyperscale data centre projects, including the award-winning Rio AI City. Javier has been delivering projects across Europe and Latin America, combining design leadership with strategic thinking.
