A reflection on our growth, capabilities, and the people behind them
Hyphen has been included in the WA100 2026, the annual survey published by Building Design, which recognises the world’s largest architectural practices by number of fee-earning architects.
Ranked at 75th, up from 79th place last year, this year’s inclusion reflects how we’ve grown and the scale at which we now operate – and we’re genuinely proud of it. Hyphen is also one of only seven practices on the WA100 list led by a female CEO. The WA100 is a measure of size, what matters is how that scale is put to work.
Multi-national growth
Hyphen has grown into a multi-national practice supporting complex real estate projects across multiple markets. But scale without intent just creates complexity. Our growth has followed a deliberate path: client relationships built over time, integrated teams working as One Hyphen, and consistent quality and standards across our network.
Our WA100 inclusion shows we’re set up to handle complexity as solution-seekers, with the know-how to support long-term projects, the depth to advise across disciplines, and the systems to deliver reliably.
For our clients, this has real value. Scale supports continuity. We’re in-synch partners who stay close to their assets over time, even as requirements shift. It brings resilience across planning, delivery, and operation.
“Being included in the WA100 this year is something we’re genuinely proud of. It reflects the commitment of our teams and the trust our clients place in us to support complex projects worldwide. Hyphen has grown significantly in recent years, and this moment recognises not only our scale, but the care, collaboration, and consistency we deliver through our client relationships.”
Eva Diego, CEO, Hyphen
Attentive people-people
Our people are what’s behind these numbers, and they’re invested in the success of every project and client relationship. Our architects, designers, technologists, and operational teams collaborate across offices with clear accountability and collective responsibility.
A shared mindset connects our teams across offices. We invest in technical standards, governance, and learning. This means we advise with commercial awareness, operational reality, and long-term asset performance in mind, alongside design quality.
Our clients work with attentive people-people who understand the wider context around their real estate decisions, not just the building itself.
Another moment that marks progress
We stay focused on what matters: supporting our clients through complex environments, growing in ways that protect judgement and collaboration, and staying close to outcomes that last.
The WA100 offers a snapshot of scale. What defines Hyphen is how we use that scale, every day, in service of our clients and the places they invest in.
